: a neurological syndrome that occurs in some long-term dialysis patients, is associated with aluminum intoxication (as from aluminum-containing compounds in the dialysis fluid), and is marked especially by motor and speech disturbance (as dysarthria and myoclonus), progressive dementia, and seizures
